I tried to get a free Whopper today after my visit to Burger King. My receipt had a call in survey option, and I figured it was a great idea considering how much I have to eat out. So I call the number, and a recording tells me to push any number on my touchpad for more information about the number I called. I pushed one, so it told me that I would receive a text message with how to get more infomation.

Immediately, I get a text. "For 9.99/month plus standard text messaging charges, you can subscribe to this service."

What?! The damn Whopper only costs $2. The coupon even says "only one per customer per month". So I've got to spend $10 to get a $2 Whopper?

....Man, that Whopper is going to taste good on Thursday.
