I'm so far in debt that I'm starting to panic. I guess I never really thought how deep the hole was getting. I don't regret going to Drake instead of KWood for my electives, but seriously? $2000 for "Intro to Visual Communication"? Man...

Will plans to live like a hobo for a couple years after he graduates to save some money. I guess that's really the only way to do it. A tiny one bedroom apartment in a shady part of town sounds bad, but it's so affordable...

  1. I plan on keeping a similar life style:

    Rent and Utilities: $600/month ($7,200/year)
    Food: $300/month ($3,600/year
    Gas: $20/Week ($1,040/year)
    Gifts (Christmas..):$1,000/year

That totals $12,840 for the year. I figure I can live off of $20,000/year which leaves about $7,000 for emergencies and entertainment.

Luxurious? No, but I wouldn't say that's the life of a hobo.

  2. I had my exit loan thing the other day, and I too will be living like a hobo for a long time. Will forgot to factor in loan repayment unless he has no loans to repay, and Insurance payments. Oh the money I won't have...
